The demand is already there. Something sits between you and it.
Most companies that call us about search are not invisible. They rank. The problem is that they rank on page two for the terms that would produce revenue and page one for terms almost nobody types. The blog publishes on schedule, impressions climb in the monthly report, and the contact form stays quiet.
That gap is rarely one broken thing. In practice it is crawl budget burned on filter and pagination URLs, four of your own pages fighting over the same phrase, category pages with nothing on them a person would want to read, titles written for a keyword tool instead of a human, and a link profile that has not changed since launch. Every one of those is diagnosable and fixable. None of them get fixed by publishing more blog posts.
SEO services fix three separate problems, not one
A search engine does three jobs. It finds pages, it works out what each page is about, and it decides which page deserves the click. Real optimization work maps to those three jobs. Finding is technical: status codes, canonical tags, XML sitemaps, robots directives, redirect chains, JavaScript that renders copy the crawler never waits to see. Understanding is structural: headings that describe the page, internal links whose anchor text means something, schema markup that states your facts without ambiguity. Deciding is competitive, and that is where content quality and links do the work.
The most common mistake in this field is choosing a keyword without reading the results page first. If Google returns ten comparison articles for a query, your product page will not rank there no matter how carefully it is written. The live results tell you which format Google has already decided that query wants. Keyword research is really intent research: group queries by what the searcher is trying to do, decide which page type answers each group, then give every URL exactly one job so your own pages stop competing.
Timelines follow the diagnosis. An accidental noindex tag or a canonical pointing at the wrong URL can change things inside a crawl cycle. A new page chasing a commercial term needs months to accumulate links and behavioral signals. Meanwhile the results page keeps changing shape. AI summaries, People Also Ask, product grids and local packs push the classic blue links further down. The practical answer is to be the source those features quote: a clear answer high on the page, data worth citing, and markup that leaves no doubt who wrote what.
What our SEO services include
Scope follows the diagnosis. A technically clean site with thin content needs a very different plan than a five-year-old store with forty thousand indexable filter URLs.
-
Technical SEO audit and remediation
A full crawl of the site read against Search Console coverage data. We surface index bloat, redirect chains, orphan pages, conflicting canonicals, broken pagination and copy that only appears after JavaScript runs. You get a prioritized fix list, and we implement the items you want us to own.
-
Keyword and search intent mapping
Demand research across your own Search Console queries and third-party tools, clustered by intent rather than by volume. Each cluster is assigned one target URL, which is how cannibalization gets stopped. Gaps that genuinely justify a new page are identified before a word is written.
-
On-page optimization and schema markup
Titles and meta descriptions written to be clicked, not merely matched. Heading structure that follows the argument of the page, internal links with descriptive anchors, useful image alt text, and structured data for the entities that apply to you: Organization, Product, Article, FAQ, LocalBusiness, Breadcrumb.
-
Content strategy and production
Briefs that state the query, the intent, the format and the points a page has to cover to compete. New pages where demand justifies them, rewrites for pages that have decayed, consolidation for near-duplicates, and deliberate removal of pages that only add noise to the index.
-
Core Web Vitals and page experience
Largest Contentful Paint, Interaction to Next Paint and Cumulative Layout Shift diagnosed from field data collected on real visits, not one lab score. We identify what is slowing the template, whether that is render-blocking script, unsized images or heavy third-party tags, then fix it.
-
Local SEO and map pack visibility
Google Business Profile setup, primary and secondary category selection, service area configuration, and consistent name, address and phone details across the directories that still count. Location pages that say something specific about that branch instead of swapping a city name inside a template.
-
Link acquisition and digital PR
Competitor link gap analysis, unlinked brand mention reclamation, legitimate industry and resource listings, and original data or commentary that gives writers a reason to cite you. No paid link networks, no private blog networks, nothing that puts a manual action on your domain.
-
Measurement and monthly reporting
Search Console and GA4 configured so the numbers mean something, rank tracking limited to terms that convert, and a monthly readout of what changed, what moved and what happens next. Organic inquiries and revenue by landing page, not a screenshot of a rank tracker.
Foundation first, then the pages, then the links
-
Access and baseline
We start with read access to Search Console, Analytics and the CMS, plus a full crawl of the live site. Before anything is recommended we want to know which pages already earn revenue, which queries you already win, and what those numbers looked like six months ago.
-
Opportunity map
Query research, competitor gap analysis and a close read of what ranks for each target today. Every opportunity carries an effort estimate and a realistic ceiling, so the plan opens with work that can move this quarter rather than a two-year wishlist.
-
Fix the foundation
Technical remediation runs first. There is little point publishing against a content plan while half the site is not indexed, canonicals point at the wrong URLs, or the highest-traffic template takes six seconds to render on a mid-range phone.
-
Improve what exists, then build what is missing
Pages already collecting impressions without clicks get rewritten first, because they compound fastest. New pages follow the map, one per intent cluster, each built from a brief that states who it is for, what it must answer and which pages link to it.
-
Earn authority, then measure
Outreach, digital PR and internal link equity routed to the pages that matter commercially, all documented. Each month we review against the map: what ranked, what stalled, what changed in the results page itself. A cluster that has not moved in two quarters gets diagnosed or dropped, not repeated louder.
Why choose KRYLANE for SEO
-
The person who finds the fault ships the fix
A technical audit that ends in a PDF is half a service. Whoever spots the canonical pointing at the wrong URL is the same person who writes the redirect and pushes it, so the finding does not become a ticket sitting three months in another vendor's backlog.
-
Measurable impact
Reporting is tied to inquiries and revenue rather than vanity positions. Across all our work, in every service, KRYLANE Studio has generated $7M+ in revenue for clients, with 92% turning traffic into growth. Search reporting here is built to feed the same measure rather than a rank-tracker screenshot.
-
A change log, not a monthly reveal
Every title rewritten, redirect added, page consolidated and link earned is recorded with the date it went live. SEO is usually sold as a black box with a report at the end of the month. Here you can read what shipped on Wednesday, on Wednesday.
-
Client approval before anything ships
Title changes, redirects, consolidations and page removals are reviewed with you first. Search changes move revenue in both directions, so you should know exactly what changed on your site and when it happened.
-
Trusted by teams
100+ projects delivered and 98% client retention across the studio's work. In a channel that compounds over months, retention says more than any single ranking screenshot: clients stay when the reporting keeps matching what shows up in the pipeline.
Industries we work with
Search behavior differs by sector, and so does the work. A few examples of how the same discipline plays out differently.
- eCommerce
- Category pages as the ranking assets, faceted navigation kept out of the index, and product markup that stops variant URLs cannibalizing each other.
- Healthcare
- Symptom and treatment queries where accuracy, visible clinical credentials and compliant wording decide whether a page is trusted enough to rank at all.
- Legal
- Practice area pages against city-level intent in one of the most link-competitive verticals there is, where digital PR does most of the lifting.
- SaaS
- Comparison, alternative and integration queries, plus documentation that quietly earns links for years after it is published.
- Finance
- High trust thresholds, cited primary sources and unambiguous authorship on every guidance page, because the alternative is not ranking.
- Local businesses
- Google Business Profile categories, proximity and review velocity, where the map pack settles the click before the blue links are read.
Frequently asked questions
How long does SEO take before it produces leads and not just impressions?
It depends on what is broken. Removing an accidental noindex tag or repairing canonicals can show up within a crawl cycle. Rewriting a page that already collects impressions typically moves sooner than building a new one, because the page has existing signals to work with. A new page chasing a competitive commercial query usually needs several months to gather links and behavioral signals. We sequence the structural wins first so something is visible early.
Can you guarantee a number one ranking on Google?
No, and an honest agency will not. Google does not sell organic positions and its ranking systems change constantly. What can be committed to is the work: a crawlable site, pages that match intent better than the ones currently above you, correct markup, and credible links. A guaranteed position usually means paid ads relabeled, or a phrase nobody actually searches.
What is the difference between technical, on-page and off-page SEO?
Technical SEO decides whether search engines can reach and render your pages: status codes, canonicals, sitemaps, speed, JavaScript. On-page covers what a page says and how it is built: titles, headings, copy, internal links, schema. Off-page is everything earned elsewhere, mostly links and mentions. Weakness in any one of the three caps what the other two can achieve.
How do you decide which keywords to target?
We start with the queries you already appear for in Search Console, add competitor and tool research, then group everything by intent rather than by volume. Each group gets exactly one target URL so your pages stop competing with each other. Before committing we read the live results page, because it shows which format Google has already decided that query wants.
Should we spend on SEO or Google Ads first?
Ads buy placement today and stop the moment the budget stops. Organic search compounds slowly and keeps returning visits long after the invoice is paid. If you need pipeline this quarter, run ads and use the conversion data to prove which queries are worth owning. Then let organic take those queries at a lower long-run cost.
How does local SEO work if we have more than one location?
Each location needs its own Google Business Profile with accurate categories, hours and service areas, plus its own page carrying detail only that branch could claim: staff, parking, directions, work done nearby. Name, address and phone details have to match across directories. Proximity weighs heavily in the map pack, which is why one page listing every city rarely ranks in any of them.
Is link building still safe, and what kind of links do you pursue?
The tactic decides the risk. Bought links, guest post farms and paid follow placements breach Google guidelines and can trigger a manual action. Links earned through original data, useful tools, legitimate industry listings, unlinked mention reclamation and genuine press coverage remain safe, and remain one of the strongest signals available. Every link is documented so you can see where it came from.
Will AI Overviews and chat assistants take away our organic traffic?
They move where the click happens rather than removing the demand. AI answers are assembled from indexed pages, so being crawlable, clearly structured and worth citing still decides whether you are the source being quoted. Purely informational queries do lose some clicks. Commercial and local searches, where someone is ready to buy, book or call, still send people to websites.
